Why the understated lettering on the Fire Dept Chiefs Suburban? How does that make sense? Is it so the fire dept chief can drive a city vehicle on personal errands unobserved?

  1. in my state, Georgia, it got so bad that the state passed a law that cops can not make a traffic stop in an unmarked car, cant wrote a speeding ticket for less than 10 over, no more that 30% of the departments annual budget can come from traffic tickets,

but lots of departments now have the invisible lettering,
even though the state law requires 6 inch contrasting reflective lettering.

I notice you have a Georgia Tech cop car pictured,
there have been dozens of armed robberies on the campus of Ga Tech, which the campus cops ignore, and do nothing about. remember, the main objective of the college police dept is to prevent the rape and burglary and armed robbery statistics from getting reported , well that and writing as many parking tickets as possible, which is easy to do since most colleges, on purpose, do not have adequate parking,
and Ga Tech is famous for admitting tons of students from foreign countries and rejecting local Georgia residents, because students from foreign countries pay 5 times the tuition as in state residents do.

    1. yeah, that was ridiculous to see all the cop cars in that Flikr page that I got the images from.
California universities are doing the same thing to profit from running a university for dollars, not educating in-state tuition residents, nor military.
Illegal aliens get instate tuition however, but military have to pay non-resident if they are from other states. I found that out when I was in the Navy, in California, but a resident of Michigan.
The world is a messed up place Dan.
Maybe my blog is a relief most of the time from all that.
